ACCESSIBILITY
Lift/Elevator
The museum is equipped with a large lift/elevator allowing easy access to the entire four floors of the museum.
Toilets
The toilets are located on the first floor next to the lift exit. The disabled toilets are located on the ground floor.
Pushchairs/Strollers
Babies can be accompanied around the museum in pushchairs/strollers and can be easily accommodated in the lift.
Cloakroom
Coats and rucksacks can be left at no cost at the ticket office. The management is unable to accept responsibility therefore documents, valuable items and money are not permitted.
Cameras and videocameras
Digital and film photography is permitted as is the use of videocameras for non-commercial, personal use. The use of flashes and other lighting is permitted only if incorporated in the camera body.
Distribution and publication of images obtained by such means is prohibited.
Other basic rules
Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted in the museum. Objects not exhibited outside display cases must not be touched, except in the marked tactile areas. For reasons of safety please do not lean against the display cases.
Obstacles for the disabled
The museum is modern and adheres to all regulations concerning disabled access. Its spacious lift/elevator and special toilet facilities permit disabled access to all floors.
Tactile trail
The museum can be visited by the partially-sighted and the blind following a tactile trail through the various rooms featuring plans in relief and captions in Braille with hands-on areas too.
